PROMPT:

Your community’s local government wants to reduce the cost of fruits and vegetables and has limited funding available to support one new program.  Officials must decide between allocating the funds towards genetic engineering or using the funds to support new ways to advertise and market the existing food supply.  Write an essay that argues which program should receive the funding.  Support your argument using evidence from both the video and the article.
