70 Lloyd Road, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423
My name is Cindy Day. I am employed as an occupational therapist. I have the privilege of helping children with special needs to develop many skills needed in the classroom. For example, I may work on handwriting skills, activities of daily living, fine motor and gross motor skills. My caseload ranges from preschool through middle school. I can also be found consulting with classroom teachers as needed.
If you ever get the chance to stop by Room 45, you will notice a room full of wonderful equipment. You may even notice a suspended swing which the children use for sensory needs. If you have any concerns about your child's motor skills, it is always best to speak with the classroom teacher first. I will then be notified of these concerns and will be able to observe your child informally. If further attention is needed, your child will be referred to the Intervention and Referral Service Team, of which I am a member or through the Child Study Team.
If you have special concerns, I can be contacted at Ext 145 or by E-Mail at firstname.lastname@example.org .
