This is a significant transitional year for 5th Grade students.  In order for you to maintain 5th Grade expectations, it is important for you to do the following:

  • Come to class prepared with required materials.
  • Participate in class and ask for help when needed.
  • Be on time for school.  The first class starts at 8:25.
  • Hand in homework on time.  Do not procrastinate on long term assignments.
  • Believe in yourself!

Education has opened many, many doors. However, there are still innumerable doors shut tight -- unopened yet. These are the doors of the future. Perhaps one of my children will open one of these doors -- I shall help give her/him the key.
