Welcome to Miss. Voigt's Page!
Miss Emily Voigt evoigt@hohokus.org
My name is Emily Voigt and I am so excited to be a part of the Ho-Ho-Kus School Public School! I grew up just over the Ho-Ho-Kus traintracks, so this community is very near and dear to my heart! I even learned how to ride my bike in the school parking lot! I attended Providence College in Rhode Island, where I received a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Most recently, I received my certification as an Orton-Gillingham Teacher and a Masters in Literacy from Farleigh Dickinson University. I've been very fortunate to teach in neighboring towns to Ho-Ho-Kus as a 3rd Grade, 1st Grade and Kindergarten Teacher! My passion for teaching students and fostering growth socially, emotianlly and academically has inspired me to continuously try new things, even when at times they can be a challenge. As a special education teacher, I hope to inspire your child to feel confident, try new things and always remember that each challenge in front of us, will help us grow stronger as learners, people and community members! I look forward to building strong connections with students and partnerning with families to support our students! | ||||||||||
